Hey, guys....I love the Florida Gators!!! The University of Florida is just awesome! I live for Florida football. We are 1 of the Top 3 premiere college football programs in the nation. We have 1 of the best coaches in college football today, yesterday, and tomorrow.....Steve Spurrier. Steve Spurrier and the Florida Gators is, "hated by many, loved by few, but respected by all"...
The Gators under Steve Spurrier have been dominant. Florida has won SEC Championships in 1991, (appeared in SEC Championship in 92...only to lose by 1 point), 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996. We have appeared in back to back National Championship games in 1995-1996. Florida won in convincing fashion in 1996, with a 52-20 romp over ranked #1 rival Florida State.
Steve Spurrier produced Heisman Trophy winning Danny Wuerfful. Wuerfful won the heisman in 1996. Spurrier won the Heisman Trophy while playing at UF in 1966. Spurrier is the only coach to win a Heisman Trophy and coach a heisman trophy winner. Wuerfful is one of the Top 5 college quarterbacks for sure, to ever play the position.
The University of Florida football program has really blossomed in college football here in the 90's. Florida will continue to win championships with Steve Spurrier under the helm. We are the University of Florida Gators!!! DEAL WITH IT! We're gonna bite you next!!!!! GO GATORS! CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!
It's a "Swamp Thing"!!!
